Welcome & Activation Homepage

Montonio needed a clearer starting point for newly signed-up merchants. The objective was to create a welcome page that highlights available services and guides merchants toward activating them right after signing up — a key step in improving overall onboarding conversion.

🧩 The onboarding journey was previously centered around KYB forms, which often overshadowed the actual value Montonio provides. The complexity lay in shifting focus from compliance tasks to service activation, helping merchants understand what Montonio can do for their business right from the first screen.

🧠 I led the work as the Product Manager, responsible for shaping the direction of the feature, coordinating insights from research, and measuring the impact for Montonio’s activation metrics.

📌 Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting user research to understand what merchants expect after signing up

  • Defining requirements, scope, and success criteria for the welcome page

  • Managing design and development iterations

  • Coordinating a smooth launch with engineering and product teams.

📈 By giving merchants a simple overview of Montonio’s services and clear steps toward activation, the new welcome page helped increase onboarding efficiency. The shift in focus improved activation rates and reduced the time merchants needed to become fully operational on Montonio.
